NOVEL is a Japan-based car tuner that specializes in customization of Lexus models. As such, it is not well known abroad. Still, the company attends this year’s Detroit Motor Show with as many as three custom vehicles: a Lexus RC F, an LC and a IS F racecar. Let us have a look at the first one for now.
The sports coupe now wears a rather extreme-looking styling kit consisting of an extended front bumper with an integrated spoiler, a motor dome hood, ludicrously large wheel arch extensions, and reshaped quarterpanels.
The Lexur RC F show car by NOVEL also takes advantage of a trunk lid spoiler, an aggressive rear diffusor with five enormous fins and a GT-style rear wing (optional).
According to the tuner, all kit components contribute to the acceleration and steering performance of the vehicle while generating additional downforce.
The price of the package remains undisclosed, but we expect it to be well into five-digit territory.
