Lexus has slightly refreshed its RC F coupe in the United States heading into 2021, making it available in a limited series named the RC F Fuji Speedway Edition.
The production run is as low as 60 units and pays homage to the Fuji Speedway where Lexus tests and tine-tunes its cars. Track Edition provides the base for the conversion, including the carbon body kit and the rear wing. It also supplies the 5.0-liter V8 rated at 479 hp (357 kW). As a result, the car reaches 60 miles per hour (97 km/h) in 3.96 seconds. Like the Track Edition, the Fuji Speedway Edition is a whopping 800 kg (1,750 lbs) lighter than the regular RC F thanks to its composite parts, a titanium exhaust system and carbon-ceramic brakes.
Customers may choose between two available main colors – the familiar Cloudburst Gray and the previously unavailable Arctic Blast Satin. Forged wheels are also included, as is a MSTR wristwatch.
The RC F Fuji Speedway Edition should become available in the USA later this fall, and the pricing is not announced yet.
As for the facelift as a whole, it incorporates several paid features into the base spec. Examples include auto-dimmable side mirrors, Android Auto support, blind zone monitoring, and rear parking sensors.
The 2021 Lexus RC F starts from U.S. $64,900, while the Track Edition will set you back $96,800 or more.
