Lexus has announced the coming of two Japan-only editions of its RC F coupes – Enthusiast and Emotional Touring. Both will be released in limited runs of 25 units each and sold to lottery winners. The participation applications are already being processed.
Both cars are based on the mass-market RC F model equipped with the optional Performance package. They make use of a slightly improved version of the standard 5.0-liter naturally aspirated V8. The output numbers are all the same, but Lexus claims the modded engine will bring ‘more vivid driving emotions,’ whatever that’s supposed to mean. A tuned LSD is also included.
Aside from that, the Enthusiast gets a massive rear wing and a naked-carbon hood. In turn, the Emotional Touring gets a body-matching hood cover and a pop-up spoiler that extends automatically when driving faster than 80 km/h (50 mph).
Both cars will ship in an exclusive shade of grey, but while the Emotional Touring will be limited to that one color, the Enthusiast will be available in three more colors. The interiors will be trimmed with black and blue leather and Alcantara regardless of the exterior finish.
Prices start from ¥15,000,000 (U.S. $100,500).
