New Lexus RX & LX slated for launch in 2022, UX to arrive later

Lexus has announced a major overhaul of its model lineup over the next two or three years, along with the introduction of several all-new models and 3 EVs until 2025.

The next generation of the Lexus RX will be the first to reach the market next year. The best-selling SUV of North America will roll around on a new global architecture by Toyota and benefit from improved hybrid powertrains. Perhaps more importantly still, it will make use of a redesigned infotainment system and a plethora of enhanced driving and safety aids.

The next LX will also see the daylight in 2022 largely based on the same tech as the freshly revealed Toyota Land Cruiser 300. The company promises to pay special attention to improving driving experience and expanding the range of available safety assists.

As for the UX, it will not be refreshed until 2023, and will go on sale with more or less the same range of updates as the NX.
