Lexus has premiered quite a few “Black Line Special Editions” recently, and the compact-sized UX 250h joins them today with purely cosmetic changes on the list.
On the outside, the crossover SUV boasts fenders color-matched to the main body color (the vanilla UX 250h has black fenders), new 18-inch wheels, black roof rails and mirror caps, darkened lights all around, and a lack of chrome accents.
Customers can choose from three available body finishes: Eminent White Pearl, Caviar and Grecian Water. The interior uses a combination of blue and purple in all three versions, and a few Zero Halliburton suitcases come bundled with the purchase.
Powering the car is a single-option hybrid system based on a naturally aspirated two-liter engine. The maximum output is rated 178 hp (133 kW).
Lexus will be shipping 1,000 such cars next spring; prices remain unknown.
