Chinese automaker Lifan has officially introduced the public a new crossover X70, which, according to company representatives, will compete with Hyundai Creta. The novelty will replace the Lifan X60.
The design of the Lifan X70 was developed by the specialists of the Italian ED bureau. The car received a light platform, MacPherson front struts and a rear multi-link suspension. Interesting is the fact that the Lifan X70 does not get all-wheel drive even as an option - the car will be front-wheel drive. However, this unfortunate fact for the lovers of the extreme ride brightens the presence of protection from plastic, which was installed around the perimeter of the body, as well as a rather high clearance of 196 millimeters.
Speaking of the technical side, the compact off-road car Lifan X70 received only one variation of the engine - a 2-liter engine, yielding 141 horsepower at the output. Couple with it operates a variator or a 5-speed manual transmission. As a result, the "rascal" accelerates to hundreds in 13.8 seconds, and the maximum speed of the car is limited to 180 km/h.
Buyers from China offer two complete sets Lifan X70. In the basic version, he received air conditioning, leather interior and 17-inch alloy wheels. More affluent buyers can complete the Lifan X70, among other things, with a new infotainment system and an ESP system.
What is the price of the novelty, is not specified yet.
