A Lincoln Aviator with some rather unorthodox styling mods slapped on it is up for grabs in the USA right now for $21,000. The SUV has a Rolls-Royce-style front end and gull-wing doors, among other things.
The biggest thing that catches our attention is that the car was made in 2005 and has 354,000 km (220,000 miles) on its odometer, making it a rather dubious purchase. While it was pretty capable when new (watch the video for an overview of the model), it looks rather sad in its current condition – age-wrinkled steering wheel, cheap seat covers and all. For what it’s worth, the owner claims both the engine and the gearbox have been completely overhauled recently.
As for the front end, it does its best Rolls-Royce Ghost impression. More RR logos can be found on the wheel hubcaps, the tailgate and the steering wheel. By all indications, none of the parts were taken from a genuine RR and are instead cheap replicas. Still, what impresses us is that the original Ghost never had gull-wing doors, while this one rocks them like it was born with them.
Personally, would you ever consider forking over 21,000 USD for a ride like this?
