Check out a Lincoln Continental restomod like no other

A restomod named Cashmere will go under the hammer in January. Built by Havasu Speed based on the 1957 Lincoln Continental Mark II, it has been elevated in status from rare to completely unique. There are no price estimates yet.

Havasu Speed has replaced virtually all the load-bearing parts with new ones. It chopped the roof by 50 mm (2 inches) and replaced the entire glass dome to fit the new shape. The trunk area complete with the spare wheel compartment and the whole front end were redesigned. New door handles and 19-inch wheels with original-inspired hubcaps were installed, and the body was sprayed in a tan shade from the Bentley palette.

Air-cushioned, per-wheel suspension was implemented alongside hydraulic power steering and Wilwood brakes. The interior received a complete makeover in leather with an AC on board, custom instruments, power windows and a multi-channel Kicker audio system.

The stock 6.0-liter V8 rated at 304 PS (300 hp / 225 kW) left the engine bay, making room for a more up-to-date 5.0-liter Coyote mill upgraded with Edelbrock components. The resulting output is not mentioned in the listing.
