Lincoln works on an updated MKC crossover

The US-based car manufacturer Lincoln announced the soon-to-be-revealed update of their MKC crossover. The car will be demonstrated to the wide public at the International Car Show in Los Angeles which begins next week. Sales in North America are scheduled for the summer of 2018.

Judging by the images thus far made public, the revamped version of MKC gets a new radiator grille, reworked LED optics, bumpers, trunk compartment and rear view mirrors.

Buyers will have to choose between a 2.0-liter, four-cylinder, 254 HP turbocharged engine and a 2.3-liter, 285 HP engine. The 4WD version of Lincoln MKC will also be available.

Other notable options include the SYNC 3 multimedia system which supports both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a Wi-Fi access point and car acoustics by Revel Ultima. Driver safety is achieved through panoramic field of view and adaptive cruise control and further secured by parking assistance, pedestrian detection, and emergency braking systems.
