Lincoln’s Zephyr Reflection sedan targets China exclusively

With the last sedan model discontinued a year ago, Lincoln’s current vehicle lineup for the United States is now limited to SUVs and crossovers. The situation is different in China, though, where four-door classics are as popular as ever. The upcoming Zephyr Reflection model is a testament to that.

The concept car debuted at the ongoing Shanghai Auto Show. Details are light so far: it is five meters long, comes based on a front-wheel drive platform, and follows the company’s newest design philosophy with a more aggressive-looking front fascia.

The cabin appears rather minimalistic and houses a huge infotainment system screen. The interface is called Lincoln Constellation and comes in Zen, Normal, and Sport designs to choose from.

It has to be mentioned that the original Lincoln Zephyr was the U.S. marque’s luxury vehicle produced from 1936 to 1942. In 2005, the company gave the same name to a compact sedan before renaming it to MKZ a mere year after.

The production car should be revealed later this year and become China’s third localized Lincoln model after Aviator and Corsair SUVs.
