A car has to be able to attract everyone’s attention if it is leading a parade of V10-packing Formula One racecar classics during the 79th meetup of Goodwood Festival participants, right?
The vehicle coming out of a parking box in the video is none other than a Gordon Murray Automotive T.50, a fantastic-looking, street-legal supercar armed with a high-revving and temperamental V12. It packs a giant fan in the back powered by a 48-volt electric motor for better aerodynamic performance and also has a tiny stripe with blinking lights in the same area. Once it hits the track, it slams the eardrums with inimitable and majestic V12 soundtrack.
The camera is mounted next to the steering wheel facing slightly upwards from the driver’s position, so you can catch a glimpse of the cabin.
Powering the T.50 is a naturally aspirated Cosworth V12 engine with four liters of displacement, 663 PS (654 hp / 488 kW) and 467 Nm (344 lb-ft) of torque.
Gordon Murray Automotive will be producing 100 road-legal T.50 units and 25 track-only ones.
