Listen to the Lego V8 rev up like the real deal

YouTuber ShaunSchafGames43 has posted an interesting vid with a tiny eight-cylinder engine block he built from Lego pats and started. Believe it or not, the mill managed an almost authentic soundtrack!

Driven by a pneumatic system, the engine revved up to 4,350 RPM and seemed quite stable at that revolution count. If you closed your eyes, you could easily imagine it being an actual racecar engine.

Even though Lego has official construction sets available for such builds, the author of this particular design upped the ante by printing multiple details – the driveshaft, the sump and the valves – using a 3D printer.
