Li Auto has opened pre-orders for its all-electric minivan called Mega and revealed some interesting specifications to keep the sales going, CarNewsChina reports.
Most remarkably, the Chinese company claims that the Mega EV has a record-low drag ratio of 0.215. For comparison, even the Porsche Taycan has higher wind drag at 0.22.
Size-wise, the Mega is 5,350 mm (209 inches) long with 3.3 meters (129 inches) between the axles and 8.26 square meters (88.9 square feet) of glass all around.
Its powertrain comprises two e-motors rated at 211 PS (208 hp / 155 kW) at the front and 333 PS (328 hp / 245 kW) at the rear. The launch to 100 km/h (62 mph) succeeds in 5.5 seconds.
Once fully charged, the MPV has up to 700 km (435 miles) of range. Refilling enough charge for another 500 km (310 miles) takes 12 minutes as long as you can find a 520kW charging outlet to plug into.
