Lotus continues posting short videos to keep us excited about its upcoming first electric SUV. Highlights this time around include a dashboard, an infotainment display and contrast stitching.
Video teasers from before revealed certain aerodynamic parts, such as a front fascia with active louvers, an active rear wing, and a roof-mounted LiDAR. The latter suggests that the car will be partly autonomous.
Lotus’ latest Evolution tech will enable the off-roader to sprint 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in three seconds flat, and cover several hundred kilometers on a charge thanks to large batteries rated from 92 to 120 kWh. A 20-minute visit to a sufficiently powerful charging station will replenish 80% of the charge.
