The British car manufacturer Lotus has unveiled a highly limited series of its Exige sports car. Only twenty-five Lotus Cup 430 Type 25 vehicles will ever leave the assembly lines, priced at £110,000 and above.
The name of the car references the famous Lotus 25 F1 racing vehicle which hit the track in 1962 and has scored two World Constructors’ Championship gold awards since. The livery of the new Cup 430 Type 25 – green with yellow accents – pays another homage to its spiritual predecessor. You may still opt for pure white instead, though.
The engine compartment of the ultra-rare Lotus Cup 430 Type 25 holds a 3.5-liter V6 with 430 hp. The vehicle can accelerate to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.3 seconds and stops just a bit short of 300 km/h (187 mph).
