Lotus has unveiled the Classic Heritage Edition of its Elise roadster, which comes in four nostalgia-inducing paint schemes to select from.
Customers may opt for a combination of white, silver and red, go for black with golden accents, pick red, white and gold, or settle on white and light blue. All four liveries correspond to the colors worn by celebrated Lotus racecars of the past. The specs list also mentions light alloy wheels and special brakes.
The interior stylistically matches the car body and features an audio system and an air conditioner. GFRP roof, titanium exhaust system and lightweight battery are available as paid options.
The Elise Sport 220 spec the limited series is based upon relies on a 1.8-liter supercharged inline-four engine that delivers 220 hp (164 kW) and 250 Nm (184 lb-ft) of torque to the wheels via six-speed manual transmission. Getting from standstill to 60 miles per hour (0-97 km/h) takes 4.5 seconds, and the roadster maxes out at 145 mph (233 km/h).
The Lotus Elise Classic Heritage Edition will emerge in a batch of just 100 production units priced starting from £46,250.
