As you may know, the Emira is the last ICE car to come from Lotus before the brand goes electric. It will ship with AMG and Toyota engines to choose from, and the V6 First Edition shown in the official video here packs a Toyota mill under the hood.
The promotional video shows Gavan Kershaw, one of the company execs, testing a pre-production Emira coupe at the Hethel raceway. He also provides a breakdown on the main capabilities of the Emira, as well as an in-depth look at its stability control system. The latter supports four models including full deactivation.
The First Edition is set to debut with 400+ horsepower (300+ kilowatts) at its disposal and sprint from zero to highway speed in 4.3 seconds with a manual gearbox. Opting for automatic improves overall torque delivery and shaves one-tenth of a second off the sprint time mentioned above.
