Lucid Motors has opened its first design showroom in the United States to let its potential customers learn more about the innovative technologies used in the Air EV. A few more showrooms will open soon.
In other news, the company has posted the trim specifications and prices of its Air range. Apparently, the base trim is called Lucid Air Pure and starts from U.S. $69,900. It offers AWD, 486 PS (480 hp / 357 kW) and 653 kilometers (405 miles) on a single charge. The main downside is that you will have to wait two years for it to arrive.
The first specs to hit the market include Touring, Grand Touring and Dream. Touring commands 628 PS (620 hp / 462 kW), has 653 km (405 miles) of range and starts from $87,500. Grand Touring has 811 PS (800 hp / 596 kW), runs for 832 km (517 miles) on a charge and costs $131,500 before options. Dream boasts 1,095 PS (1,080 hp / 805 kW), 809 km (502 miles) of range and a $161,500 minimum price tag.
The manufacturer currently continues testing Beta 2 pre-production cars with what it claims to be nearly production-ready units and components inside.
