Lucid is expanding its Air EV range with two new, more affordable modifications called Pure and Touring. Despite officially being the new base spec, the Air Pure still delivers 660 km (410 miles) of range.
Powering the $92,900 Pure model is a dual-motor AWD powertrain rated at 487 PS (480 hp / 358 kW). Fifteen minutes of fast charging can replenish 322 km (200 miles) of range. The sprint from zero to 97 km/h (60 mph) is a matter of 3.8 seconds. Next year, the company plans to launch a single-motor Pure spec priced starting from $87,400.
The Touring resides higher up the list with its $107,400 sticker and 628 PS (619 hp / 462 kW) at the output end. It can sprint in 3.4 seconds and offers 684 km (425 miles) of range despite having the same battery as the Pure spec.
Both cars are available for pre-ordering, with the deliveries set to begin towards the end of the year.
