Lynk&Co has posted the first images of a new crossover SUV set to reach the market with the ‘08’ nameplate, AutoHome reports. Aside from a part-electric drivetrain, it is slated to go on sale with an exclusive infotainment system by Meizu.
The Lynk&Co 08 will also pioneer the Chinese marque’s new design direction: a laconic appearance underlined with novel bumpers and LED-based lights all around, including slim DRLs. The interior is likewise minimalist and dominated by a large infotainment system display. An operating system called Meizu Flyme Auto will provide access to a wide variety of new in-car features, the company says.
Power will originate from a 1.5-liter engine assisted by an electric system. The output, as well as all other parameters, remain secret thus far.
The Lynk&Co 08 is slated for live premiere at the Auto Shanghai show next month, but an online reveal is set on March 30, 2023.
