The Lynk & Co 07 EM-P is a mid-size sedan running on a platform known as the CMA Evo and sharing much of its design and tech with the 08 SUV introduced last year. Here are its photos, including the interior.
Coming in at 4,827 mm (188.6 in) long, 1,900 mm (74.2 in) wide and 1,480 mm (57.8 in) tall with 2,843 mm (111.1 in) of wheelbase, the car has virtually the same wheelbase as the SUV. It sports a two-tone exterior finish with the roof offset in black, h-shaped DRLs, a large air intake at the front end, pull-out door handles and a trunk lid spoiler.
The interior seats five people and features a two-tone, three-spoke steering wheel, a slim 12.3-inch digital dashboard and a 15.4-inch multimedia screen. The latter supports 2.5K resolution and comes with a slim bezel.
The driver’s UI is called Lynk Flyme Auto Meizu, and the familiar last word isn’t a coincidence. Since 2022, the smartphone brand Meizu belongs to Li Shufu, the founder of Geely and its sub-brand Lynk & Co. The car also has not one, but two wireless phone chargers on the center console and a couple of cup holders that you can cover with a lid when not in use.
The powertrain consists of a 1.5-liter BHE15-BFZ petrol engine identical to that of the 08 SUV and one or two electric motors. Their parameters remain to be revealed. The 08 SUV had 381 PS (376 hp / 280 kW) and 593 PS (585 hp / 436 kW) options when it debuted. According to the patent data available so far, the 07 EM-P will utilize a CATL battery rated at 19 kWh for 102 km (63 miles) of CLTC-rated range. With the gas tank full and the battery charged, it should cover around 1,400 km (870 miles).
