The Indian car manufacturer Mahindra has released the updated XUV500 seven-seat crossover series. Depending on the engine, a new car may cost between 1,232,000 and 1,788,000 rupees.
The next-generation Mahindra XUV500 sports redesigned LED headlights, radiator grille and trunk door. It is also now available in more colors and may take advantage of an optional 18-inch designer-made wheel set.
The interior of the vehicle has hardly changed at all, except for occasional higher-quality trimming.
The engine lineup of the updated Mahindra XUV500 now includes an improved 2.2-liter diesel engine with 155 hp (115 kW) and 360 Nm (265 lb·ft) of torque. Another option is a 2.2-liter gasoline engine rated at 140 hp (104 kW) and 320 Nm (236 lb·ft) of torque.
