Maserati launches Fuoriserie, its new customization program

One could argue that Maserati cars are quite exotic as is, but it doesn’t mean driver’s won’t be inclined to pay to stand out even more. This is what Fuoriserie, the Italian automaker’s newest customization plan, aims to deliver.

Customers may opt for any of the three available trim versions: Corse (retro-inspired racecar design), Futura (for the high-tech enthusiasts) and Unica (for fine art aficionados). The teaser pics show off three Trofeo-spec vehicles in these trims: a Ghibli, a Quattroporte and a Levante.

The Ghibli Trofeo Corse comes painted Officine Aluminum Matte with a couple of red stripes running down the body and red brake calipers behind the spokes. The cabin makes use of Alcantara in generous amounts, while the driver’s seat is color-coded to stand out among the rest.

The Quattroporte Trofeo Unica wears a chameleon paintjob that changes color depending on view angle. It boasts special graphics on its body and glass dome that uses the company’s signature trident badge logo and lettering. The wheels are white and red, and the calipers are red. The cabin trim is turquoise and white.

The Levante Trofeo Futura takes advantage of modern tech such as 3D scanning and printing. Its Textured Blue Graphite body boasts reflective décor elements, while the cabin offers a grey Alcantara-draped ceiling and white leather seats.

The company is already taking pre-orders. When the Maserati MC20 hypercar starts shipping, it will also take advantage of Fuoriserie.
