Novitec has launched a new upgrade package for the luxury-laden Maserati Ghibli sedan. The deal includes a performance increase along with some purely aesthetic improvements.
The Maserati Ghibli by Novitec features a brand-new carbon aerodynamic body kit which has passed multiple tests in a wind tunnel. It also wears 22-inch, five-spoke aluminum wheels and offers an interior finishing that makes intensive use of Alcantara, carbon and natural wood.
The engine bay of the series-produced Maserati Ghibli holds a six-cylinder turbocharged engine with 430 hp / 320 kW. Once the upgrade is installed, its performance goes up to 494 hp / 368 kW. The necessary modifications include the replacement of several parts and a firmware update.
Driven by a boosted engine, the vehicle reaches 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.4 seconds – 0.3 seconds faster than without the upgrade installed. Its top going speed is also now bordering on 300 km/h (187 mph).
Prices are only disclosed to interested buyers.
