Maserati has released the first official teasers of its all-electric GranTurismo Folgore model set to debut next year.
The vehicle is concealed under layers of camo and shot in a dark room, making it difficult to discern any details. Still, the company’s signature radiator grille is in full view, as are aerodynamic wheels and some lights. What makes it truly special, however, is a new platform.
According to Maserati, the GranTurismo Folgore rides on a new platform and takes advantage of three electric motors jointly rated at 1,217 PS (1,200 hp / 895 kW). It can sprint 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in under three seconds and maxes out close to 305 km/h (189.5 mph). Driving range and other parameters remain to be revealed.
