The all-electric GranTurismo Folgore just gave us a new reason to write about it: Stellantis CEO Carlos Tavares took the supercar out for a test drive.
The photos were published on the official Maserati channel in social media. The executive looks visibly pleased with the car, smiling broadly and giving the photographer a thumbs-up. It looks like the performance and handling of the Folgore is where the company wants them at this point.
The electric flagship sports a traditional GT body with recognizable front grille design. Hidden under all the sheet metal is a multi-motor powertrain capable of exceeding 1,200 metric horsepower (1,183 hp / 882 kW) – the numbers are official now. A sprint from zero to 100 km/h (62 mph) takes less than three seconds, while the top speed lies around 300 km/h (186 mph).
