Maserati gets a GranCabrio EV ready to rustle tires silently in 2023

Like the new Maserati GranTurismo that premiered not long ago, the new GranCabrio will have a fully electric version, Autocar reports quoting the company’s Global Product Planning VP.

The executive believes that the four-seat cabriolet will start from around £200,000 in the UK, thus rivaling the Bentley Continental GTC in terms of price. It will most likely be based on the same tech as the coupe, implying a 3.0-liter V6 boosted to 496 PS (489 hp / 365 kW) in entry-level specification and 558 PS (550 hp / 410 kW) in top spec. The all-electric GranTurismo will allegedly offer a superior 762 PS (752 hp / 560 kW) and 1,350 Nm (996 lb-ft) of torque.

The Maserati GranCabrio is scheduled for production in the second half of the next year.
