Maserati rolls out an anniversary-themed GranTurismo batch

The Maserati GranTurismo PrimaSerie will be made in 75 units because it has been three quarters of a century since the Italian car marque added the GT badge to its portfolio (watch the attached video for a nostalgic dive).

The celebratory edition will be obtainable either in matte silver with red accents or in matte black with mint green details. The number 75 will adorn the hubcaps and the headrests. For the interior, the company goes with a two-tone leather trim and contrast stitching.

On the technical side of things, the PrimaSerie is a Trofeo spec armed with a Nettuno V6 engine sending 558 PS (510 hp / 410 kW) to the back through an eight-speed A/T. The sprint from zero to 100 km/h (62 mph) takes 3.5 seconds, and the top speed falls just short of two hundred miles per hour (320 km/h, or 199 mph).

The next-gen coupe debuted in October 2022 in a Modena spec, which was rated at 496 PS (489 hp / 365 kW) and went as fast as 302 km/h (187.7 mph). An alternative spec called Folgore crowned the lineup with a trio of electric motors and 762 PS (752 hp / 560 kW) of conmbines output. The Folgore has a 92.5-kWh battery and can conclude the standard sprint exercise in 2.7 seconds.
