In the fall of 2020, Maserati announced an affordable crossover SUV named Grecale. The car should debut sometime later this spring, but in the meantime, let’s see what it looks like on recently made spy shots.
To us, the main highlight comes in the form of quad exhaust tips, which suggests that the version tested is the top spec with a twin-turbocharged six-cylinder engine under the hood. The company mentioned that an all-electric version was also in the works under the Folgore sub-brand, but it will not arrive until at least 2022.
Once it reaches the market, the Grecale will have to compete against the new Porsche Macan, which already offers a full-electric powertrain in its latest generation.
