Maserati Levante Trofeo V8 Launch Edition scheduled for Geneva launch

Maserati will unveil a special version of its Levante Trofeo SUV, called the V8 Launch Edition, at the upcoming International Motor Show in Geneva, Switzerland opening to the public on March 7, 2019.

The most immediately obvious feature that sets the Maserati Levante Trofeo V8 Launch Edition apart from the main Trofeo series comes in the form of three brand-new body colors the company has never used before. These are called Blu Emozione, Rosso Magma, and Giallo Modenese.

You can also easily tell the Launch Edition from its mass-issue counterpart thanks to carbon garnishes decorating its side sills and bumpers, a restyled hood cover, 22-inch wheels available in several matte and glossy finishes, and vividly-colored brake supports (you may choose red, yellow, blue, or silver).

Inside, the limited series offers leather-bound sport seats adorned with contrast stitching and company logos on the headrests.

The car comes powered by a Ferrari 3.8 V8 turbo engine churning out 582 hp (434 kW) and 730 Nm (538 lbft) of torque. Paired with a 4WD system and an 8-speed automatic transmission, it accelerates the SUV 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in just 4.1 seconds. The top going speed amounts to an impressive 300 km/h (186 mph).

Maserati will keep the production volume of its Maserati Levante Trofeo V8 Launch Edition down to just 100 units.
