Maserati aims to become an all-electric car manufacturer by 2030, and as Autocar is now reporting, its flagship SUV – the Levante – will not be an exception.
In fact, the crossover may go full-on electric as soon as in its next generation. Autocar quotes the CEO of the company here, who hinted in an interview that it was crucial for the company to produce an all-electric Levante version. He left it hanging in the air whether the ICE alternative would remain available alongside the EV or not.
The new iteration of the SUV will run on a modified version of the Alfa Romeo Giorgio platform also utilized by the Grecale and GranTurismo models.
