Maserati has revealed a few photos of its upcoming supercar – still in disguise, but with its body design reportedly finalized and ready to ship.
The photo session took place near Maurizio Cattelan’s scandalous L.O.V.E. sculpture on the Piazza Affari, Milan, Italy. The rear and the sides are the easiest to see, and one can also notice the large brake discs and the exhaust tips in the middle.
The new coupe uses the same tech as the mid-engined Maserati MC12 and also puts its engine in between the axles. Rumors say it might ship with a high-end inline-six or a 2.9-liter V6 the likes of which Alfa Romeo produces. Then again, it might turn out to be a plug-in hybrid.
The premiere is scheduled for May 2020.
