The retired Manchester United player has been appointed the Brand Ambassador of Maserati at the beginning of the year, so it would be odd to hear criticisms instead, but still.
The 46-year-old celebrity was given an opportunity to drive the mid-engined MC20 on the Modena Raceway. He says he had an ample opportunity to try out the new supercar and was convinced that it was perfect, as well as a great car to drive over the streets of Miami, Florida.
He also confessed that the experience made him feel giddy with excitement, like a 16-year-old boy who just got behind the steering wheel for the first time.
Beckham has his work cut out for him in the next year: Maserati says it will appoint him to test the new Grecale, and later the GranTurismo as well. As for the MC20, it comes powered by a 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 rated at 630 PS (621 hp / 463 kW) and will later debut in pure electric form.
