Check out Maserati MC20 in an over-the-top carbon suit

The team over at 7 Design House has announced the production of 25 body kits for the Maserati MC20, and here is the first finished example photographed live.

The bold-looking kit includes a front splitter with side fins, canards, hood intake details, side sill extensions, a rear spoiler, a rear diffuser, and a functional roof scoop. All parts are produced from navy blue carbon fiber juxtaposed against a dark grey body of the sports car.

The tuner claims the aero kit reaches its peak efficiency at 322 km/h (200 mph), generating extra 361 kg (795 lbs) of downforce and letting the Italian coupe convey its power to the ground more effectively. All components use OEM mounting points, are easy to detach and reduce the weight by nearly 6 kilos (13 lbs) compared to stock.

Paying a premium nets you an exhaust system that shaves another 7 kg (15 lbs) off the curb weight and bumps up the output by 20 PS (20 hp / 15 kW). Then again, the stock MC20 is no slouch itself with 630 PS (621 hp / 463 kW) going to the wheels.
