Tuning company 7Design has announced the forthcoming production of 25 carbon-fiber body kits for the Maserati MC20 roadster. The press release highlights improved aerodynamic performance alongside unique looks.
The kit includes front bumper canards, a front splitter, air intakes in the hood, side sill extensions, a rear diffuser and a sizable spoiler. When applied, the complete package adds up to 90 kilos (200 pounds) of downforce at 160 km/h (100 mph).
7Design bundles the custom body parts with 20-inch wheels and a special exhaust system said to add 20 horsepower (15 kilowatts) to the engine output.
The tuner says the kit has been primarily designed to fit the MC20 Cielo PrimaSerie Edition (see video). While not official, reports were saying Maserati intended to cap the production at 65 PrimaSerie units.
