The Maserati MC20 Cielo Opera d’arte is a unique bespoke car that debuted at the Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters tennis tournament, to which the carmaker has been the main sponsor and partner for the past three years.
Executed by the company’s in-house tuning division founded in 2020, Fuoriserie, the car wears an exclusive livery inspired by abstract art. Its main exterior color is royal blue, while the interior is slightly darker and comes adorned with complex geometric shapes.
The custom treatment spans the entire body of the car, the wheels, the dashboard and the seats. Maserati says it was the first time it used a special image application technique, essentially turning the whole car into an artist’s canvas. Although it enlisted the assistance of Maserati Centro Stile, it took a whole year for Fuoriserie to finish the job.
Nothing is said about technical modifications. This implies that the car still retains its stock electrochromic glass top, butterfly-wing doors and the standard 3.0-liter Nettuno V6 rated at 630 PS (621 hp / 463 kW) and 730 Nm (538 lb-ft) of torque. An eight-speed DCT carries the torque to the rear wheels, letting the roadster hit 100 km/h (62 mph) in three seconds flat and ultimately reach 320 km/h (199 mph).
