German tuning company G&S Fahrzeugtechnik has complemented its Exclusive range in the portfolio with a styling package for an older Maserati Spyder. The now-rare vehicle received aftermarket wheels, a cabin makeover and quite a few gold accents.
Starting at the front, the stock radiator grille makes way for a larger one borrowed from a GranCabrio model. The badges and captions all around are golden, just like the 20-inch Work-VSXX wheels filling the arches. We understand that some may call the gold-tinted parts gaudy or excessive, but to us, there aren’t too many of them, and what little is present looks rather elegant against the white body of the Spyder.
KW Suspensions coilovers drop the ride height a fair bit, while the brake system benefits from new, flexible brake lines. A Capristo exhaust system lends the car its finely adjustable voice, and the taillights look like they come from a Maserati 3200 GT.
The interior of the car wears light brown leather and Alcantara with some carbon fiber applications and an Italian tricolor on the steering wheel. The stepping boards are also overlaid with carbon, and there are long paddle shifters under the wheel made from the same material.
The eight-cylinder engine under the hood stays stock, but G&S Exclusive says the exhaust swap alone lets it churn out 460+ metric horsepower (more than 454 hp / 338 kW).
