Japanese car manufacturer Mazda will bring a new crossover utility vehicle to the Geneva Motor show in March 2019. Despite the deadline drawing near, the company is in no hurry to reveal its technical specs.
All we know right now is that the new mini-CUV follows the same design philosophy as the Mazda 3 and will hit the dealerships with a choice between old naturally-aspirated Skyactiv engines and a brand-new 2.0-liter Skyactiv X mill.
On one hand, we could assume that the car Mazda is going to reveal is a new CX-3.On the other hand, that model is still too new and fresh to warrant a generation update. The CX-3 debuted in 2015 and received its first facelift in 2018. Therefore, “a coupe-like variant of the CX-4” sounds like a much safer bet to us.
Here’s looking forward to the premiere!
