Mazda keeps teasing its e-SUV

Mazda’s first-ever production SUV running on battery power will be revealed to us tomorrow, October 23, 2019. In the meantime, the company continues to generate excitement by revealing more parts of the upcoming EV.

The short video focuses on the sporty and fast outlines of the car. The manufacturer claims it boasts an ‘original and ruthlessly simple’ design.

Car spotters have previously detected the test mule of the model. Reportedly, the car used the Mazda CX-30 bodywork, a single electric motor rated at 142 hp (106 kW), and a 35.5-kWh battery. No technical specs are available for the final production version, which still goes unnamed. That said, we will likely learn more tomorrow, when the 2019 Tokyo Motor Show opens for the media.
