The Japanese Mazda 6 is still a best-seller, but the sales tend to be dwindling after the initial success. More customization options would have helped boost the popularity, but the company doesn’t feel like messing around with the stock looks of the 6. Thankfully, tuners like Kodostyle often take the matters into their own hands.
The Japanese firm has released a body kit for the sedan/saloon, the main highlights being the bolt-on fender flares, the front spoiler lip, the radiator grille stripped of the Mazda logo, the diffuser-like rear apron, and the miniature trunk lip. You can order all parts painted to match the car body of finished in the ‘visual carbon’ look. Overall, the kit looks very nice and even reminds us of what Liberty Walk, another Japan-based tuner, does, minus the over-the-top antics.
The show car rides on dark-grey forged wheels of unknown origin. In our opinion, the car could really use rims a couple sizes larger than this – the way things stand, the arches simply have too much vacant space left to fill.
