A group of enthusiast vloggers decided to find out which of the three driver’s cars made in Japan would be the fastest in an acceleration race: the Mazda 6, the Honda Accord or the Toyota Camry TRD. Let’s see what the trio brings to the table.
The Camry packs a 3.5-liter naturally aspirated V6 rated at 301 hp (225 kW) and 362 Nm (267 lb-ft) of torque. It has an eight-speed automatic transmission, the stickiest tires out of the three, and improved suspension.
The Accord’s two-liter turbo four-pot produces 252 hp (188 kW) and 370 Nm (273 lb-ft) of torque, which a ten-speed auto gearbox sends to the wheels.
The Mazda has a 2.5-liter turbo-four at its disposal and gets 250 hp (186 kW) and 420 Nm (310 lb-ft) out of it. It sticks to a simpler six-speed automatic transmission design and pulls ahead of the competition in terms of torque. But would it be enough to win the race? Watch the video to find out!
