Mazda has decided to gain a firmer foothold on the Australian market with the release of the 2018 Mazda BT-50 pickup truck.
The updated vehicle ships with an improved appearance as well as a longer list of features.
The exterior of the 2018 Mazda BT-50 is dominated by a massive front bumper. There is a new radiator grille and flashy chrome-coated wheel arches. As for the body kit, you may have it painted either black or metallic grey.
On the inside, the updated vehicle has an infotainment system which can be controlled using your Android or iOS device, a 7” screen, a rear view camera and other handy features.
On the technical side of things, the revamped pick-up packs a 3.0-liter turbocharged diesel engine manufacturer-rated at 200 hp (150 kW). You may opt for a 150 hp (112 kW) version if you don’t need the extra power. Both models work in conjunction with manual or six-speed automatic transmission.
Once it is out, the shiny new Mazda BT-50 will be sold at what translates to U.S. $29,000 and above.
