If you are in the market for a tiny city car, Mazda has its 2 and 3 subcompacts to offer you. It also has an even smaller model called Carol, which is available in Japan and will be getting updated for the next year.
Like before, the supermini comes equipped with a 658cc Suzuki R06A engine, although buyers can opt for a 657cc mild hybrid system. There is an AWD version as well, but the most fuel-efficient way to go is 2WD MHEV, which consumes only 3.6 liters per 100 kilometers.
The Mazda Carol will be available in Japan in mid-January starting at ¥998,800.
