Mazda has just posted a new teaser for its upcoming CX-90 SUV, which reveals its rear end and mentions a powertrain called E Skyactiv PHEV. The full reveal remains scheduled for January 2023.
The person holding the charging cable is out of focus, but they are standing to the right of the car, meaning the charging port is located at the passenger side.
The rear end shot reveals a rounded rear window and taillights with rectangular frames and a light bar connecting them through the middle.
In all likelihood, the PHEV will not be the only version on offer. Mazda will probably also ship the CX-90 with inline-six engines supported by 48V starters in a fuel-efficient mild-hybrid configuration.
