The 2021 Mazda MX-5 breaks cover with a slew of updates and a new track day trim called the RS GT – but you won’t be able to order one unless you live in Australia.
The RS GT features Brembo brakes with improved cooling and performance calipers, tweaked Bilstein gas dampers, and new 17-inch BBS forged wheels shod with Bridgestone Potenza S001 tires. The SkyActiv-G 2.0 four-cylinder hits the wheels with 184 PS (181 hp / 135 kW) and up to 205 Nm (151 lb-ft) of torque in conjunction with a six-speed manual gearbox.
Prices begin at $47,020 AUD, and shipments are scheduled for January 2021.
