Check out the Concept NM, a speedster-like take on the older MX-5/Miata

Italy-based car customizer Gorgona Cars has unveiled what it called the Concept NM. A first-generation Mazda MX-5 at the core, it boasts a speedster body with no windshield and a single driver’s seat with a hunch behind it.

Elsewhere, the custom ride benefits from an upgraded chassis, a self-locking differential, and an engine borrowed straight from the latest-gen MX-5. The 2.0-liter naturally aspirated engine works in tandem with a six-speed manual transmission to hit the wheels with 184 PS (181 hp / 136 kW).

Gorgona Cars plans to release a limited quantity of such vehicles priced from €70,000, the donor MX-5 not included.
