German aftermarket specialist Barracuda Racing has unveiled a custom Mazda MX-5 that looks like a great track tool. Rather than tuning the engine, the owner opted for reducing the unsprung mass and improving handling.
The tuning shop replaced the stock wheels with custom 17x7.5-inch rims finished in matte bronze, the perfect match for the purple body of the car. As for the suspension, it wound up with Vmax coilovers and H&R sway bars.
To round off the project, the Barracuda team put an aero kit on the petite roadster, complete with a towering rear wing, and swapped the stock exhaust system out for a new one with two large finisher tips grouped at the middle of the rear diffuser.
