Car manufacturer McLaren said it would bring a fifth LT model out onto the market in a year from now. The production quantity is going to be relatively small.
The new LT (Longtail) vehicle will be designed and built in accordance with the “Track25” plan the company adopted some time ago. The plan basically states that McLaren will be releasing 18 brand-new or facelifted cars until 2025.
Reportedly, the fifth LT will comply with the main design philosophy of the brand, meaning it will strive to combine small weight, high engine power, limited production quantity and good racing performance in a single package.
The first McLaren Longtail model was the F1 GTR LT that debuted over 20 years ago. It was followed by the 675LT Coupé in the 2015 and 675LT Spider / 600LT Coupé some time later. The fifth Longtail is rumored to be an open-top version of the McLaren 600LT.
