This McLaren Senna took nearly 500,000 LEGO bricks to complete

A LEGO builder team has spent 5,000 hours creating this life-size copy of the McLaren Senna. Piecing the blocks together alone took 2,725 hours, while the rest of the time went into creating a design draft and similar preparatory routines.

The toy hypercar dons a Victory Grey livery brightened up with occasional orange accents and consists of 467,854 individual bricks and parts. It is unique to a certain degree, since it takes advantage of certain original parts sourced from the real-life McLaren Senna. These include the driver’s seat made out of carbon fiber, the pedals, the steering wheel, the wheels wrapped in Pirelli tires, and the logos. The LEGO car also sports removable doors that you can just take off if you want to get inside and pretend that you are revving up the engine.

Some time ago, Chevrolet released a life-sized replica of its Silverado1500 LT Trail Boss. Earlier than that, LEGO enthusiasts used a million parts to build a Bugatti Chiron replica complete with functional headlights, active rear wing, and engine.
