Preparation of automobile companies for the forthcoming Geneva showroom is well under way. The other day the British McLaren brand showed to public a small teaser of new model which debuts in Switzerland at the beginning of March. The car will become the successor of the 650S supercar. The main focus of the company is on the advanced of aerodynamics of the car.
British laid out in a network only one image, which shows a thin LED strip and an element of an active rear wing in the rea-end of the sports car. The provision of a rear wing, as representatives of car maker declare, will change depending on car traffic conditions. For example, at intensive braking the increased corner of a spoiler will help to slow down the car quicker.
They promise that the new model in the range Super Series will become more effective from the point of view of aerodynamics almost twice. In particular, the novelty will develop 50% more clamping force, than its predecessor. This will provide better road grip and more stability. In addition, new aerodynamic elements on the doors and car body are provided for a more rapid cooling of the engine. Technologies which were for the first time used by British when designing a superhybrid of P1 are used in a design of the rear choke tube.
